Notifications
LogTag® Online can automatically notify you when certain events occur. Which of these events generate notifications, and who receives them is configured separate for each location.
To configure notifications for a specific location, click Locations from the navigation bar, then click Edit for that location and Edit Notifications.
Click the
Tab to make your selections:
Events
For each different event you can select which method of communication should be used if the logger attached to this location registers the event. To activate the notification for a specific event, can select both or either of its communication methods. If you select neither, no notification will be sent.
Alarm Detected
LogTag® Online sends notifications when an alarm is triggered by the logger attached to this location. Only one notification will be sent for each alarm, even if the alarm is triggered multiple times.
Upload Reminder
LogTag® Online sends notifications when the logger attached to this location has not sent any data for the time specified in Interval Reminder.
Select the time in Interval Reminder. Available options are 30 minutes, 3 hours, 12 hours, 10 days, 30 days and No reminder. We recommend to use a low setting (3 hours) for real-time loggers and a high setting (10 days) for loggers that are only downloaded weekly.
Low Battery
LogTag® Online sends notifications when the logger attached to this location reports a low battery. Please note the battery warning relates to the CR2032 backup battery, not the AAA batteries.
Contacts
For each of these events you can also select which team member should be notified, and via which method. Select individual or all contacts. You must select the Primary Contact first, before you can select the secondary contact. If you select neither of the contacts, no notification will be sent when the event is triggered.
For example, if a temperature alarm is triggered, an email with following content is sent to the Primary Coordinator:
Inspections
Using LogTag® Online in regulated environments may require you to inspect the recorded temperatures regularly, possibly even once or twice daily.
Typically, inspections are performed directly on the logger by pressing the REVIEW/MARK button, which records an inspection mark in the logged data.
LogTag® Online gives you the option to allow a remote inspection. This means, you can click a button in LogTag® Online and mark the reading in the location's temperature log. Select Remote Inspection if you wish to allow this, clear Remote Inspection if you do not allow a remote inspection.
Select Allow overdue inspection if you wish to allow a team member to add inspection marks for past days.
